An Astrology service that provides astrological forecasts to SLT and Mobitel customers.
MyAstro Astrology service is completely different from the traditional “Star Sign” based readings which are available on newspapers, TV, radio etc. MyAstro Astrology service develops astrological readings based on Birth Date, Birth Time and Birth Place of each and every customer. You will be given astrology predictions by an Astrology Specialist, Deshabandu Sumanadasa Abeygunawardana, an adviser to H.E. the President of Sri Lanka.
Astrology service is now provided only to CDMA post paid and pre paid customers via SMS, but very soon, SLT Megaline customers (fixed line users) can also get this service via IVR.
There are 03 services (packages) available. You can choose any of the following packages as your preference.

However, please note that you have to subscribe to the ‘Horoscope Service & Special Announcements’ service to become eligible for the Numerology (Nume) service. You will get astrology predictions every morning irrespective of the package you have subscribed to.
You should be an SLT Citylink (CDMA) Postpaid or Prepaid customer to be eligible for these services. Also, if you are a prepaid customer, your account or Citylink card balance should have an adequate credit balance to subscribe to the service.
Your Citylink connection should be in active status
Your prepaid account / Citylink card balance should be enough to deduct the monthly rental charge.

To register for any service package, initially you have to dial 1312. Then listen to the voice prompts and follow the instructions.
Then send an SMS to short code 1312 with the chosen package name and your name as below.

If you are an eligible customer for this service SLT will send an acknowledgement SMS (reply SMS) accepting your registration & your PIN. (From this moment on you are considered as a registered customer for the Astrology package that you have chosen)

When you dial 1312 short code, follow the instructions given by the voice prompt and enter your personal data such as Birth Date, Birth Time and Birth Place. There is also an option to select your preferred language as English or Sinhala.

You will receive an incoming call from SLT to re-confirm the information you entered. Also you will get an acknowledgement SMS with all the information you have entered.

Yes, you can correct your information by either dialing 1312 or sending an SMS to 1312, and editing your entries as Birth Date / Time / Place. The facility to edit your name will be introduced soon.

Horoscope Service & Special Announcements.
Yes, you can, since you can register to these services in your own name and you will receive your own specific PIN number. SLT will send Astrology SMS with your name. Then you can identify your own prediction/s in your own name.
For Panchanga service however, (Suba) predictions will be sent to all subscribers commonly. Therefore when a user registers with the “Suba” in his/her phone, all other people who have access to use the same phone and who have registered with the MyAstro can use Suba predictions.
If you are a postpaid customer, total service charges will be added to your bill. For prepaid customers, it will be deducted from your account.
Also if you use the same name again, (duplicate) you will be rejected from registering the service.

You can only re-register the service within 30 days under the following conditions:
If your connection is in incoming & outgoing bar status (TOS status-Temporarily out of service) and when you activate your account within 30 days, service will be auto-renewed by SLT. Then you can use your previous PIN.
However, if SLT un-registers the account on your request and you wish to re-register the service within 30 days, you have to send an SMS to short code 1312 and register as demonstrated below. Then you will get the previous PIN. However, this can only be done once per billing month.
