Tuesday, 29^th March 2016: SLT organized an awards ceremony to reward the winners of the company’s PEO TV T20 promotion which was held during the period 20^th January to 20^th February 2016. Customers who purchased new PEO TV connections during the period were eligible to win an all-round trip to watch the ICC World Twenty20 2016, in Kolkata, India. A raffle draw was held on 4^th March during which twenty lucky winners were selected from all across the island.

The awards ceremony was held at a grand scale at SLT Auditorium in Fort. The winners were first taken on a tour of Colombo City before being escorted to SLT premises for the actual awards ceremony. PEO TV brand ambassador, Kavinga Perera as well as former cricketers including Upul Tharanga and Kasun Rajitha also joined the contestants for the tour and awards ceremony as an added bonus. The mock tickets were given away at the ceremony by the Chief Guest of the event, Ajantha Seneviratne, CEO of SLT Visioncom together with Upul Tharanga and Kasun Rajitha.

The winners won all-round trips to Kolkata, India to watch the finals of the ICC World Twenty20 2016 match. The package included air tickets, accommodation as well as match ticket costs being borne by SLT. The lucky winners will be leaving Colombo on 2^nd April and returning on 4^th April after attending the match.
