Sri Lanka Telecom, the National Information and Communication Technology Solutions Provider in the country conducted eighteen regional events parallel to the launch of National Digital Roadmap, under the theme of “SMART Sri Lanka” recently. These regional events conducted at Gampaha, Kalagedihena, Wadduwa, Galle, Matara, Ratnapura, Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Monaragala, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Chilaw, Kurunegala, Jaffna, Batticaloa and Ampara, with the participation of over 4500 including regional government officials, business customers and society leaders representing general public.

The regional sessions comprised of awareness presentations, discussion forums and live demonstrations. SLT business partnering organizations such as Sri Lanka Telecom Services, SLT Digital Info Services , Fentons Limited (Pvt) Ltd , Epic Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, SALA Enterprises, Finco Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and e-solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd were also joined to facilitate the demonstrations.
